Nowadays, people's lives are increasingly emphasizing green and environmental protection, and more and more people are using solar power generation systems.
Classification of solar power generation systems:
Solar power generation systems are divided into off grid power generation systems, grid connected power generation systems, and distributed power generation systems:
1. The off grid power generation system mainly consists of solar cell components, controllers, and batteries. If the output power supply is AC 220V or 110V, an inverter needs to be configured.
2. Grid connected power generation system refers to the direct current generated by solar modules that is converted into AC power that meets the requirements of the municipal power grid through grid connected inverters and directly connected to the public power grid. The centralized large-scale grid connected power station of the grid connected power generation system is mainly characterized by directly transmitting the generated energy to the grid, which is uniformly distributed by the grid to provide power to users. But this type of power station has a large investment, a long construction period, and a large land area, and has not yet developed much.
3. Distributed power generation system, also known as distributed power generation or distributed energy supply, includes basic equipment such as photovoltaic cell modules, photovoltaic array brackets, DC combiner boxes, DC distribution cabinets, grid connected inverters, AC distribution cabinets, etc. In addition, there are power supply system monitoring devices and environmental monitoring devices.
Advantages of solar power generation systems:
1. Solar energy is inexhaustible, and the amount of solar radiation received on the Earth's surface can meet energy needs by 10000 times. As long as solar photovoltaic systems are installed on 4% of the desert, the electricity generated can meet the needs. Solar power generation is reliable and will not be affected by energy crises or unstable fuel markets;
2. Solar energy is everywhere and can be supplied locally without the need for long-distance transmission, avoiding the loss of long-distance transmission lines;
3. Solar energy does not require fuel and has low operating costs;
4. Solar power generation has no moving parts, is not easy to use or damage, and is easy to maintain, making it particularly suitable for use in unmanned situations;
5. Solar power generation does not generate any waste, has no pollution, noise or other public hazards, and has no adverse effects on the environment, making it an ideal clean energy source;
6. The construction period of solar power generation system is short, convenient and flexible, and it can add or reduce the capacity of solar arrays according to the increase or decrease of load, avoiding waste.
